UV screen printing further differentiates Yoplait’s Oui yogurt in a glass jar


Yoplait’s Yes™® The limited edition French Florals collection is a set of three uniquely designed glass jars, each inspired by flowers from different regions of France: Paris Magnolias, French Alps Globe Flowers and Provence Lavender. The flowers are screen printed on the Oui pots using UV inks. The Limited Edition jars are no structurally or functionally different from ordinary Yes glass jars.

The flowers are screen printed on the Oui pots using UV inks and two-tone patterns. Unique design glass printing is the real starting point of this packaging development. Otherwise, these Yes pots are the same as the standard versions, and the aluminum closure is the same throughout the portfolio.

“All Yes by Yoplait will be available in limited-edition French Florals Collection glass jar designs,” says CJ Kidd, Senior R&D Engineer – Packaging, General Mills. “The models pay homage to the beauty of France, and through the models we hope to inspire people to take the time to enjoy the beauty of a moment for themselves with Oui’s French-style yogurt. The beautiful glass jars also add style to any reuse/recycling of the jars after the yogurt has been consumed.”

All Oui by Yoplait flavors will be sold in these uniquely designed glass jars at retailers and grocery stores nationwide for an MSRP of $1.49. -PW
