Koenig & Bauer has entered into a cooperation agreement for the further development of the RotaJET.
With a new press for digitally printed flexible and stretch films, Koenig & Bauer strengthens its strategic orientation in the growing market for digital and flexible and stretch film presses.
The press is to be developed based on the RotaJET and the first installations are expected to start production of digitally printed flexible and stretch films in the coming year.
“Our RotaJET is already well established in the market for paper applications and decor printing. As a next step, we now want to venture further into digital printing on flexible and stretchable films with one of the world’s leading players in this field,” said Christoph Müller, Member of the Board of Koenig & Bauer. .
The press will have a maximum width of 1,380 mm and will be able to print films with a thickness of between 0.12 and 0.3 mm on both sides.
